Job Summary
Job Title: Activities Coordinator Location: Dorchester Salary: £12.50 per hour Hours: Part-time (10am–3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, plus alternate Saturdays) We are seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a diverse programme of activities for our residents. You'll play a key role in promoting engagement, social interaction, and well-being within the care home environment. This role involves direct interaction with residents, staff, and families to ensure personalised and inclusive activities.
Experience
Requirements Previous experience in a care home or social activity setting is desirable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to plan, organise and lead group and individual activities Must be 18 or over due to the nature of the role Willingness to undergo a DBS check Compassionate and respectful attitude towards older people Flexible and reliable with a strong team spirit
