Salary: £105,504 - £139,882
Job Description:
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist/Forensic Psychiatrist to join an Offender Health Service in Nottinghamshire. The role involves providing mental health services to offenders within prison settings, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric conditions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to service development, and ensure high clinical standards. The position offers the opportunity to impact the lives of vulnerable individuals and improve mental health care in the offender health sector.
Experience
Requirements:
MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
MRCPsych or equivalent
Full GMC registration with licence to practice
Eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register or CCT in Forensic Psychiatry (or General Adult Psychiatry with forensic experience)
Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status, and DBS clearance
Substantial experience in forensic psychiatry
Experience working with mentally disordered offenders
