Job Summary
We are looking for Night Seniors to work in a beautiful, warm and welcoming, 98 bed Care Home that specialises in Residential, Nursing, and Dementia Care.
The Purpose of the Role:
To share with other staff in meeting the personal care and hygiene needs of residents, in such a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence.
To help in the care of the resident’s physical environment and in general day to day activities of the Home.
Experience
Prior experience of a senior position in a similar service.
Job Responsibilities
- Support Care Staff: Assist with the overall management of the care home during night shifts.
- Medication Administration: Complete medication rounds as required.
- Incident Reporting: Competently report accidents and incidents, following the falls policy.
- Manual Handling: Use correct moving and handling techniques to ensure safety.
- Documentation: Complete necessary documentation in line with home guidelines.
- Emotional Support: Attend to residents' physical and emotional needs in a respectful manner.
- Care Plan Implementation: Assist in executing residents’ care plans.
- Regular Checks: Conduct routine checks on residents throughout the night.
