Job Summary
We’re looking for a team of staff to join our clients brand new 21 bed dementia care home.
You will join an established company dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort are the top priorities. With a commitment to a culture of excellence, they will provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment for residents, as well as ensuring staff wellbeing is prioritised.
SALARY: £12.21
As Housekeeper you will play a vital role in ensuring the home is kept at a high standard and you will interact with the residents to contribute to ensuring they feel comfortable and at home in the service.
Experience
Experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of HASAW, COSHH and best cleaning practices.
Knowledge and experience of people with Dementia.
Good written and verbal communication.
Job Responsibilities
- Cleanliness Maintenance: Ensure all areas of the home are kept clean and hygienic at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Cleaning Schedules: Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, including fire procedures and COSHH regulations.
- Laundry Tasks: Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold clothing and other textiles.
