A High-Risk L&D Night Shift — Built for Nurses Who Refuse to Risk Their License in an Unsafe Environment
Houston, TX | Full-Time | 12-Hour Night Shifts | ~$104,000
If you’ve worked enough Labor & Delivery nights, you know exactly when a shift crosses the line from high-risk to unsafe. You walk in, assess staffing and acuity, and quietly ask yourself whether you’re being set up to practice at the level you’re capable of — or just to get through the night without something going wrong. This role exists for experienced L&D nurses who won’t compromise on patient safety, clinical judgment, or their license — and who do their best work on nights when trust, structure, and support are real.
This opportunity is designed for RN II and RN III Labor & Delivery nurses who intentionally choose nights, bring strong independent judgment, and are comfortable practicing in high-acuity, fast-moving environments without constant oversight.
Nurses who choose nights don’t do it haphazardly. They do it because nights demand strong clinical judgment, calm under pressure, and the ability to think independently when resources are leaner. This role is designed for nurses who do their best work when trust supersedes micromanagement — and when experience, not hierarchy, guides decisions.
