Imaging Service Engineer – X-Ray

Location: Hudson Valley, New York (Multiple Locations Considered)

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 + Benefits + Training

The Opportunity

A growing and well-established medical imaging service organization is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer to support hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare facilities throughout the Hudson Valley region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop or advance their career in medical imaging. You'll be responsible for maintaining critical X-Ray systems that directly support patient care, while working within a collaborative team that values technical excellence and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair X-Ray imaging systems

• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, inspections, and system upgrades

• Diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults to minimize equipment downtime

• Respond to customer service requests and provide technical support

• Maintain accurate service documentation and compliance records

• Build strong relationships with customers, radiology departments, and clinical staff

• Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve complex issues

Requirements

• Experience servicing, maintaining, or installing medical imaging equipment preferred

• Knowledge of X-Ray systems or related diagnostic imaging equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory
