Imaging Service Engineer
Location: West Virginia (Field-Based – Flexible Within the Region)
Salary: $75,000 - $115,000 + Benefits + OEM Training

The Opportunity
An industry-leading medical imaging service organization is seeking a motivated Imaging Service Engineer to support a growing customer base throughout West Virginia.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to build or advance a career within medical imaging. Whether your background is in biomedical engineering, military medical equipment service, or imaging systems, full OEM training and certification will be provided.
You'll be responsible for supporting critical diagnostic imaging equipment used throughout hospitals and healthcare facilities, helping ensure maximum uptime and reliable patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medical imaging systems at customer sites
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
• Support installations, upgrades, system validations, and commissioning activities
• Deliver exceptional customer service while acting as a trusted technical resource for healthcare facilities
• Maintain accurate service documentation, parts records, and compliance reporting
• Participate in OEM certification programs and ongoing technical development
• Collaborate with regional and national engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
• 1+ years of experience in medical imaging engineering, biomedical engineering, healthcare technology management, or military medical equipment service
• Strong electromechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a field-based territory
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital service reporting platforms
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the assigned region
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical service-related activities as required
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug screening, and customer credentialing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience servicing CT, MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT, or related imaging systems
• OEM training or certifications
• Hospital-based or field service experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
