Overview


A well-established, independently operated medical imaging service provider is seeking an experienced X-ray & Fluoroscopy Service Engineer to support diagnostic imaging equipment across healthcare facilities in Connecticut. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role within a close-knit technical team, supporting on-site imaging systems used in day-to-day clinical care. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repair of diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is technically strong, self-sufficient, and comfortable working directly with clinical teams in a hospital or outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities: Service, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy systems


Key Responsibilities



• Install, service, and maintain medical X-ray imaging systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and quality assurance checks

• Troubleshoot technical issues and execute timely repairs

• Document service activities for internal records and client reporting

• Serve as a key point of contact between customers and internal support teams

• Ensure all work meets regulatory and safety standards


Qualifications:


• Minimum 1 year of experience servicing or installing medical imaging systems

• Solid knowledge of X-ray equipment and related technologies

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

• On-site - Willingness to travel (very little)

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
