Field Service Engineer – Linear Accelerator (LINAC)

Location: Idaho (Full-time, Permanent)

Salary: $115,000 – $155,000 + Comprehensive Benefits + Relocation Assistance

A leading independent medical equipment service organization is expanding its oncology support team in the Northwest. The company partners with healthcare providers to deliver reliable, high-quality service solutions that keep critical radiation therapy systems operating safely and efficiently.

Role Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of Linear Accelerators (LINAC) at customer sites across Idaho. This is a field-based position requiring regular regional travel. You will troubleshoot complex system issues, complete service documentation, and ensure equipment performance meets clinical standards.

Key Requirements:

• Solid foundation in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering

• Demonstrated experience servicing and repairing medical Linear Accelerators

• Ability to interpret schematics and use diagnostic software tools

• Willingness to travel throughout Idaho as needed

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
