Role Overview:
Join a growing team as a Field Service Engineer, supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of X-ray and other imaging systems. You’ll conduct preventive maintenance and quality assurance checks, manage service documentation, and serve as a trusted point of contact for customers across the Reno region. Regular local travel is required.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing or installing medical imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of imaging systems and related technologies
• Solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Reno, NV area

Experience
Role at Browns Medical Imaging
Position: X-ray Engineer at Renown Medical Imaging, Reno NV, a Level 2 Trauma Center.
Current team: 3 engineers (CT/MR/Nuke Med, X-ray, and a cadet). This hire would add a strong X-ray specialist.
Equipment at site: Definiums, Proteuses, Precisions, Fuji (Shimadzu rebranded), Carestream, Konica, etc.
Candidate would office out of the main hospital, with 7 clinics nearby (farthest ~40 minutes).
Training & Support
Heavy emphasis on training opportunities (Fuji, Proteus/Precision, CT/MR, Shimadzu, Canon, Konica).
Browns operates a training warehouse in Omaha with CT/MR bays and trailers.
Candidate support through “ghost groups” (Global Online Support Teams) for remote troubleshooting and documentation.
