Junior Imaging & Biomedical Engineer – Field-Based (Central Iowa) Location: Central Iowa Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 Modality Focus: CT / MRI Training: Full training provided Must be a U.S. citizen (required for site access and compliance purposes) Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience in biomedical engineering, imaging systems, or military background Overview We are hiring a Junior Imaging & Biomedical Engineer to join a well-established service team supporting diagnostic imaging equipment across healthcare sites in Central Iowa. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals or technically minded individuals with a biomedical, electronics, or mechanical background who are looking to specialize in medical imaging systems. Full OEM training and mentorship will be provided. Role Responsibilities Assist with the installation, servicing, and maintenance of CT and MRI equipment Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and basic repairs under supervision Support senior engineers in troubleshooting imaging system issues on-site Maintain accurate service documentation and contribute to service reports Build professional relationships with customers and ensure high service standards Travel to customer sites across the region as part of a field-based role Candidate Profile We are looking for driven individuals who are eager to grow into a specialized engineering role. The ideal candidate will have: A degree or technical certification in biomedical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field 6 months or more years of experience in medical devices, biomedical, imaging systems, or other electro-mechanical industries A strong interest in medical technology and patient-critical equipment Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer service A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region Package & Benefits Competitive base salary ($55,000–$70,000) Fully paid training program with potential for OEM certification Company vehicle or car allowance Full health benefits: medical, vision, dental 401(k) retirement plan Relocation support if required Career development with a growing service organization Why Apply?
