Job Summary

Imaging Service Engineer Location: Indianapolis, IN, USA (Accepting relocators too!) Salary: $70000 - 85000 + Excellent Benefits + Relocation Support Equipment: Multimodality A well-established independent service provider is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with experience in CT, MR, X-ray, and NucMed systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CT, MR, and X-ray and NucMed systems. Serve as the primary onsite support engineer for service requests related to contracts, warranties, and billable repairs. Provide remote consultation in collaboration with regional service managers and technical teams. Accurately document service activities, including parts orders, expenses, and time reports. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure efficient ordering and return of repairable components. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and facility-specific policies. Qualifications & Requirements: Hands-on experience with CT, MR, X-ray and NucMed imaging systems (preferred). Multi-modality engineers with experience in any imaging modality are encouraged to apply. Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field, military training, or equivalent work experience (1+ years of relevant experience required without a degree). Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available). Ability to comply with customer-specific security and health requirements. Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Strong hand and finger dexterity for handling intricate equipment components. Position: Imaging Service Engineer Location: Avon, Indiana Company: Trimedx Key Details: Hiring Manager: Robert (Robbie) Berardi Job Scope: Multimodality role covering Cath Labs, C-arm, ultrasound, and general X-ray. Servicing four hospitals in the Avon, Indiana area, with Carmel as the central location. Team structure includes 2 imaging engineers and 10 biomedical engineers. Compensation: Hourly pay: $30–$40 per hour (up to approximately $83k annually). Mileage reimbursement provided (no company car). Equipment: Primarily Siemens and GE equipment, with some Philips and Hologic systems. On-Call Requirements: Minimal on-call duty but must be able to reach the site within 2 hours. Additional Notes: Avon is a family-friendly area with good schools. Role offers opportunities to train with OEMs and work in-house with limited on-call responsibilities. Strong customer service skills are critical.
