Job Summary

We are seeking an Independent Booking Agent to secure paid speaking engagements for Ebony Hall, an international best-selling author, U.S. Veteran, tech executive, and motivational speaker known as Your Combat Friend. Ebony delivers powerful keynotes, workshops, and leadership programs built on her R.E.A.L. Leadership™ framework (Resilience, Emotional Intelligence, Alignment, and Legacy), helping organizations move beyond burnout and silent struggles into authentic transformation. The agent will proactively identify and secure speaking opportunities with corporations, associations, nonprofits, universities, and conferences, while building strong relationships with event organizers and bureaus. Responsibilities include outreach, negotiation of fees and contracts, tracking leads, and representing Ebony’s brand with professionalism and integrity. Candidates should have proven experience in speaker booking, talent representation, event planning, or sales, along with strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills. A network in the speaking industry is highly valued. This role is commission-only, offering 15% of gross speaking fees per completed engagement, paid after the event and client payment. Technical Skills

The booking agent should have 3–5 years of proven experience in securing speaking engagements, managing talent, or event bookings, with strong skills in outreach, negotiation, and deal closing. They should also bring an existing network of event planners, corporations, or speaker bureaus and know how to position a speaker’s brand for high-value opportunities.



Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure speaking opportunities at conferences, corporate events, associations, and universities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with event organizers, decision-makers, and speaker bureaus.
  • Negotiate contracts, fees, and logistics in collaboration with Ebony Hall’s team.
  • Track opportunities, maintain communication pipelines, and provide regular updates.
  • Represent Ebony Hall’s brand with professionalism, authenticity, and integrity.
