Job Summary

This organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to work with a secure government client on nationally important products. The role involves challenging existing thinking, co-designing with users, prioritising initiatives, and delivering impactful products.You will have full autonomy to work as you see fit and be supported by experienced, agile, multi-disciplinary teams.


Role Objectives

  • Lead one or more multidisciplinary Agile teams to identify problems, co-design solutions, and deliver outcomes that balance user needs, organisational goals, and sustainability
  • Deliver results across all stages of the product lifecycle, including Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live
  • Form effective partnerships with client product owners and stakeholders
  • Negotiate priorities and outcomes to maximise value delivery
  • Mentor and coach others to improve product management capability across the organisation


Requirements

Core Skills & Experience:

  • Product ownership: Translate user needs into deliverables, write stories and acceptance criteria, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Product management: Develop and maintain product roadmaps, define minimum viable products, and make prioritisation decisions with limited information
  • Agile working: Strong experience working within Agile or Kanban teams
  • Lifecycle experience: Lead teams through full product lifecycle (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live), selecting appropriate tools and techniques for each stage
  • User focus: Understand users’ needs, behaviours, and changing requirements; prioritise effectively; coach others in user-centred approaches
  • Stakeholder management: Facilitate buy-in from senior management, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Analysis and research: Use performance data, user research, and other evidence to support decision-making; articulate rationale clearly
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to explain complex topics in plain English, create effective presentations, and write clear user stories

  • DV Clearance is essential

  • Hold or be eligible for SC Clearance
  • Have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 10+ years
