This organisation is seeking a UX/UI Designer to work in delivery-focused, agile projects with government clients.The role involves translating user needs and business requirements into usable designs, creating prototypes, and guiding development teams. You will support, mentor, and provide guidance to other designers while ensuring high standards across all design outputs.
Role Objectives
- Translate user needs and business requirements into clear, implementable designs
- Define and guide the creation of prototypes and user-centred design artefacts
- Plan, lead, and coordinate user-centred design efforts across projects
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, Testers, and other Designers
- Support and mentor other User Experience Designers
- Conduct and lead design workshops
- Communicate and evangelise user needs to stakeholders
- Provide guidance on accessible design and design best practices
- Oversee the creation of workshops, prototypes, and design artefacts to drive decision-making
Core Skills & Competencies
- Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma
- Experience with user-centred and service design techniques
- Ability to break down designs and communicate them to developers and testers
- Excellent prototyping and interaction design skills
- Ability to set design objectives and choose appropriate tools and techniques
- Planning and executing user-centred design activities
- Theming and synthesising outputs from research to produce strategic insights
- Communicating design information effectively to stakeholders and teams
- Agile working experience across multiple projects
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team
Security Clearance Requirement

- Hold or be eligible for SC Clearance
- Have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5+ years
