Job Summary

Overview

They are seeking a Test Engineer to take ownership of quality across web applications, ensuring robust automated and manual testing practices. The successful candidate will enjoy building automation frameworks, creating test cases, and contributing to high-quality, reliable releases within an Agile and DevOps environment.


Role Objectives

  • Design and build Automation, Web Services/API, Performance and Accessibility test frameworks integrated with CI/CD
  • Plan and execute exploratory and automated testing throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify, document, track, and manage defects effectively
  • Own and manage release processes to ensure smooth product delivery
  • Collaborate with developers and cross-functional Scrum teams to increase test coverage and reduce bottlenecks
  • Maintain and update regression test suites as products evolve
  • Operate effectively within a DevOps culture

  • JMeter
  • Postman / SoapUI

  • Experience delivering automation in Agile and CI/CD environments
  • Functional automation (API and UI testing)
  • Performance testing experience
  • Experience testing reactive applications and cross-browser/device compatibility
  • Strong customer-facing communication skills
  • High integrity and professionalism


Security Clearance Requirement

Due to the nature of client work with UK Central Government departments, candidates must: Be- eligible for Security Clearance (SC)

Have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5+ years
