Overview

A digital consultancy delivering public sector services is seeking a Lead Product Manager to lead multidisciplinary agile teams across the full product lifecycle. You will work closely with delivery managers, architects, designers, and researchers to deliver measurable outcomes aligned to a clear product vision. This role is suited to someone comfortable operating in complex government environments and confident leading Discovery through Live services.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary agile teams delivering user-centred services
• Drive outcomes across Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live phases
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps
• Define MVPs and prioritise effectively
• Write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
• Partner with client Product Owners and senior stakeholders
• Use user research and performance data to inform decisions
• Coach and mentor product managers and team members
• Support and prepare teams for government service assessments

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong product ownership and product management experience
• Proven Discovery phase leadership experience
• Experience delivering through full GDS lifecycle (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live)
• Experience supporting GDS service assessments
• Strong Agile / Kanban delivery experience
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication skills (plain English, presentations, documentation)
• Evidence-based decision making using research and data

Desirable Experience

• Healthcare sector experience

Working Pattern

• Remote-first
• Some onsite client engagement required
