IT Support Engineer

London (Hybrid – office, home and client site visits)

About the Company

We’re partnering with a well-established award-winning IT support and technology services provider based in London, dedicated to helping businesses fulfil their potential through reliable, proactive and customer-focused IT support. With nearly four decades of experience working with small and medium-sized organisations, the company is widely recognised for delivering high-quality managed IT services, strategic support, and exceptional customer service.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated, articulate and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join the growing support team. This role is ideal if you’re experienced in IT support, or at the start of your tech career with a passion for IT and ready to develop your skills further. You’ll be providing front-line technical support, helping to resolve issues efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day first-line support to internal users and client end-users, both remotely and onsite.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues across a range of environments.
  • Support onboarding of new users, setup of workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Maintain accurate incident logging, documentation, and escalation where necessary.
  • Deliver high levels of customer service with clear, friendly communication.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider IT team to support projects and improvements.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn — someone who wants to grow and develop their IT career.
  • Confident and articulate communicator with strong customer-service skills.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, including time in the office, working from home and attending client sites in London.
  • Passionate about IT and keen to build solid technical expertise with opportunities for internal development and training.
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, Engineering) is highly advantageous but not essential for highly motivated candidates.
  • Commutable to London for office days and client site visits.

What You’ll Get

  • Structured development and personal learning roadmap with ongoing training.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility for home working and office/client visits.
  • Opportunity to work with a supportive team in a company that values growth and potential.
