Security Operations Manager

Location: Clerkenwell, London (EC1)

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

About the Role

MRG Recruitment is exclusively sourcing a proactive and highly organised Security Operations Manager to join a leading security provider based in the heart of Clerkenwell.

This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced environment where you will take ownership of 40 client sites. You won't be doing this alone; you will work as part of a collaborative squad of five Operations Managers, sharing intelligence and resources to ensure the highest standards of service delivery across London.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management: Maintain and oversee 40 diverse client security sites, ensuring all Assignment Instructions (AIs) are current and followed.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting regular site visits and "signing off" on service quality to ensure total client satisfaction.
• Rostering & Scheduling: Full responsibility for staff deployment and shift coverage using Logosoft. You must be adept at managing complex rotas and reacting quickly to gaps.
• Staff Development: Lead the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of security personnel to ensure a high-performing and compliant workforce.
• Compliance: Conduct regular site audits, health and safety checks, and ensure all staff possess valid SIA licenses and necessary certifications.
• Incident Management: Act as an escalation point for any site incidents, providing support and clear reporting to both the client and senior management.

Requirements Experience:

• Proven track record in Security Operations Management, ideally within a multi-site manned guarding environment.
• Technical Skills: Must be proficient in Logosoft (or similar workforce management software) for rostering and payroll data.
• Leadership: Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team and handle HR issues / inductions professionally.
• Communication: Exceptional client-facing skills with a "problem-solver" mindset.
• SIA License: A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding license (Managerial level required).
• Flexibility: While primarily office-based in Clerkenwell, you must be prepared to conduct site visits and manage shift emergencies when required.
