About the Role
We are looking for experienced, professional, and reliable Security & Venue Safety Officers to join our busy team. Working across our entertainment and venue spaces, you will play a key role in keeping guests, staff and premises safe, secure and operating smoothly. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role within a lively environment, covering our main venue, bar areas and event spaces. You will be the face of safety and security, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and trouble-free visit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff
- Carrying out entry checks, monitoring access and managing crowd flow
- Operating as a Door Supervisor in line with all licensing and legal requirements
- Dealing with incidents, enquiries or challenging situations calmly, firmly and professionally
- Conducting regular patrols of indoor and outdoor areas
- Monitoring behaviour and intervening early to prevent issues
- Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with venue management and other team members
- Enforcing site rules and policies in a fair and consistent way
What We’re Looking For
- Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential — applications without this cannot be considered)
- Previous experience in security, door supervision or venue safety is preferred
- Calm, confident and approachable manner — able to handle pressure and busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use your initiative
- Smart appearance and professional attitude at all times
- Good awareness of health, safety and licensing regulations
- Flexible availability — must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holiday periods
- Age 18+ (due to licensing and licence requirements)
- Full training and ongoing support provided where
