MRG Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established adult domiciliary care provider to recruit a Registered Manager.


This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults within their own homes across Greater Manchester.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving service excellence, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring individuals receive care with dignity, respect, and compassion.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred care
  • Recruit, onboard, and train care staff, ensuring all compliance documentation is completed in line with regulatory requirements
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of carers through effective supervision, training, and development
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and Greater Manchester Framework tender requirements
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with service users, families, and external stakeholders including commissioning managers
  • Review, audit, and update care plans, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes
  • Drive continuous service improvement and uphold the organisation’s reputation for excellence
  • Participate in the on-call rota, including weekends
  • Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as required


Essential Requirements:


  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
  • (Equivalent qualifications such as NVQ Level 4 with relevant management training will be considered)
  • Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager within adult domiciliary care (minimum 2 years)
  • Full UK Driving LicenceDesirable CriteriaCQC countersigned DBS (issued within the last 12 months)
  • Train the Trainer qualification
  • Safeguarding Adults Level 3
  • Full UK Driving Licence


Strong working knowledge of:

  1. CQC regulations
  2. Health and Social Care Act 2008
  3. Safeguarding procedures
  4. Medication administration
  5. Mental Capacity Act and DoLS


Desirable Criteria

  • CQC countersigned DBS (issued within the last 12 months)
  • Train the Trainer qualification
  • Safeguarding Adults Level 3
