Job Overview  

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Worker to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of our facility/equipment. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to maintain a safe and well-functioning environment for staff, guests, or residents. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) 
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, repair issues, and emergencies 
• Carry out basic repairs such as painting, fixing leaks, and replacing light bulbs. 
• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems 
• Ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are used safely and stored properly 
• Monitor and report any safety hazards, damages, or major repair needs to management 
• Assist in preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and costs 
• Maintain cleanliness and order in maintenance areas and workshops 

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in maintenance, facility management, or a similar role 
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair work 
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Good physical stamina; able to lift heavy objects, climb, kneel, or work in various conditions
