Description:

We are looking for a meticulous Revenue Recognition specialist to ensure accurate and compliant revenue accounting under IFRS 15 / UK GAAP. You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, Commercial, and Billing teams to deliver timely revenue recognition backed by strong controls. With a flexible hybrid working model, blending office collaboration with remote options.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts to identify the correct revenue recognition approach per IFRS 15

• Prepare and post revenue journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Guarantee accurate revenue recognition in the right accounting periods

• Support month-end and year-end closes for revenue processes

• Reconcile revenue accounts and investigate discrepancies

• Maintain revenue recognition schedules and documentation

• Collaborate with Commercial, Sales, and Operations to resolve revenue issues

• Provide revenue analysis and documentation for internal/external audits

• Drive process improvements, controls, and system enhancements for revenue

• Uphold compliance with internal policies and accounting standardsSkills & Experience

• Background in revenue recognition, financial accounting, or similar finance roles

• Solid knowledge of IFRS 15 and/or UK GAAP revenue principles

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to interpret contracts and commercial terms

• Proficiency with finance systems and Excel

• Excellent cross-functional communication

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
