Core Responsibilities:

- Support the rollout of a new credit control software module and update processes accordingly 

- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger with the finance team  

- Chase overdue payments via phone, email, SMS, letters, or online banking platforms  

- Negotiate payment plans with clients and collaborate with internal teams as needed  

- Prepare Letter Before Action (LBAs) and work with the debt recovery team  

- Generate client statements on request  

- Resolve billing queries and discrepancies  

- Prepare accurate credit control reports  

- Drive down aged debtor days for the business  

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Demonstrated credit control background 

- Strong negotiation and communication abilities  

- Meticulous attention to detail  

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills  

- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office  

- Credit control software experience (desirable)  

- Legal sector experience (advantageous but not required)
