Job Summary

We are partnering with a publicly listed, global technology services and systems integration firm that is building its U.S. go-to-market engine following a recent acquisition. With deep capabilities across data, integration, and cloud, the company is entering a critical phase of U.S. expansion—focused on scaling enterprise delivery and sales within the Boomi and broader data ecosystem.


This is a foundational technical hire, sitting at the intersection of sales and delivery, and playing a critical role in translating complex integration and data solutions into tangible business outcomes for enterprise clients.


This is not a traditional post-sales architect role—this is a front-line, sales-aligned Solutions Engineer who will directly influence deal cycles, shape solution design, and help win new business.

Sales Motion: Net-new logo acquisition (hunter-led) + partner-driven enterprise sales

Customer Profile: Mid-market to enterprise organizations undergoing integration, modernization, or data transformation initiatives


The Role:


As a Solutions Engineer, you will act as the technical backbone of the U.S. sales motion—partnering directly with Account Executives to design, position, and validate complex integration and data solutions.


You will lead technical discovery, architect high-level solutions, and build credibility with both technical and executive stakeholders during the sales process.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being customer-facing, influencing deals early, and operating across both pre-sales and early delivery phases in a high-growth, less structured environment.


What You’ll Do:


  • Own the Technical Win in Sales Cycles
  • Partner with AEs to drive technical validation across active deals
  • Influence and help close $2M–$4M+ in annual revenue as the primary technical counterpart
  • Act as the trusted advisor to customer technical stakeholders
  • Lead Technical Discovery & Solution Design
  • Run deep discovery sessions around integration architecture, data flows, and system landscapes
  • Design high-level solution architectures across integration platforms and data ecosystems
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, technically sound solutions
  • Drive Pre-Sales Execution
  • Deliver tailored demos, whiteboarding sessions, and solution walkthroughs
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with clear, compelling technical narratives
  • Build business cases that connect technical solutions to measurable outcomes
  • Bridge Sales & Delivery
  • Ensure clean handoff from pre-sales to delivery teams
  • Stay involved in early implementation phases to ensure solution integrity
  • Align proposed solutions with delivery feasibility and margin expectations
  • Operate Within Partner Ecosystems
  • Collaborate with partners (e.g., Boomi, Microsoft, Databricks) on solution design and joint opportunities
  • Stay current on partner capabilities, product updates, and integration patterns
  • Leverage partner relationships to strengthen technical credibility in deals
  • Help Build the Technical GTM Foundation
  • Shape how solutions are positioned, packaged, and sold in the U.S. market
  • Create reusable solution frameworks, demos, and assets
  • Provide feedback into partner strategy and service offerings


What We’re Looking For:


  • Technical & Solutions Background
  • 5–10+ years in solutions engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting
  • Experience designing and selling integration, data, or cloud-based solutions
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, APIs, and data pipelines
  • Ecosystem Experience
  • Hands-on or adjacent experience with platforms such as: Boomi, MuleSoft, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, or similar
  • Experience working within SI / consulting environments is highly preferred
  • Pre-Sales & Customer-Facing Skills
  • Proven ability to influence technical buyers during sales cycles
  • Comfort leading discovery, demos, and solution presentations
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Commercial Acumen
  • Understands how solutions translate into revenue, margin, and delivery effort
  • Comfort partnering with sales on deal strategy and positioning
