We are partnering with a venture-backed, growth-stage AI platform company that is redefining how large enterprises design, deploy, and scale AI-powered applications. Having recently raised a significant funding round and emerged from stealth, the company is entering a critical go-to-market expansion phase and building out its technical leadership within the GTM organization.


This role sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, technical architecture, and market evangelism, helping large organizations translate complex AI infrastructure into clear business outcomes.


The company works primarily with Fortune 500 / Global 2000 organizations, particularly in industries where security, data governance, and speed-to-value are critical to AI adoption.

The Role:


As Field CTO / Head of Technical Evangelism, you will serve as the technical authority within enterprise sales cycles while helping define how the company communicates its architecture, capabilities, and value to the market.


This is not an internal engineering leadership role.


Instead, this position sits on the front lines of enterprise sales, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and executive leadership to guide CIOs, CTOs, and engineering leaders through complex technical decisions around enterprise AI adoption.


You will also build and lead a technical evangelism function, establishing repeatable narratives, demo frameworks, and technical engagement strategies that help scale the company’s go-to-market motion.


This role is ideal for technical leaders who enjoy customer-facing environments, strategic storytelling, and building new functions from the ground up.


What You’ll Do:


  • Lead Technical Strategy in Enterprise Sales
  • <li class="ql-indent-1">Partner with Sales teams during early-stage enterprise conversations and discovery calls.<li class="ql-indent-1">Guide technical architecture discussions with CIO, CTO, and engineering leadership teams.<li class="ql-indent-1">Translate complex AI and platform architecture into clear business outcomes for executive buyers.<li class="ql-indent-1">Address technical objections around deployment models, security, AI governance, and build-vs-buy decisions.
  • Drive Technical Evangelism & Market Narrative
  • <li class="ql-indent-1">Represent the company in executive briefings, conferences, and technical forums.<li class="ql-indent-1">Develop compelling technical presentations that resonate with both business and engineering audiences.<li class="ql-indent-1">Create repeatable architecture narratives and demo frameworks for enterprise prospects.<li class="ql-indent-1">Contribute to thought leadership through presentations, workshops, and industry engagement.
  • Build the Technical Evangelism Function
  • <li class="ql-indent-1">Hire, mentor, and lead a team of Technical Evangelists as the organization scales.<li class="ql-indent-1">Develop standardized:<li class="ql-indent-1">Technical pitch frameworksDemo narratives and architecture walkthroughsTechnical objection-handling playbooksVertical-specific technical messaging<li class="ql-indent-1">Create scalable processes for technical engagement across enterprise sales cycles.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally
  • <li class="ql-indent-1">Collaborate closely with Sales leadership on deal strategy and enterprise pursuits.<li class="ql-indent-1">Provide structured field feedback to Product teams on enterprise requirements.<li class="ql-indent-1">Help refine positioning against AI platforms, orchestration frameworks, and consulting-led solutions.<li class="ql-indent-1">Support enablement initiatives to strengthen technical fluency across the GTM organization.



What We’re Looking For:


  • Technical Leadership & AI Expertise
  • <li class="ql-indent-1">Deep understanding of enterprise AI architecture, including LLM ecosystems, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise data integrations.<li class="ql-indent-1">Experience designing or advising on AI-powered enterprise applications.<li class="ql-indent-1">Ability to simplify complex technical systems without losing credibility with engineering audiences.
  • Enterprise Customer Experience
  • <li class="ql-indent-1">Significant experience participating in enterprise sales cycles with technical buyers.<li class="ql-indent-1">Comfort engaging CIOs, CTOs, and engineering leadership in architecture discussions.<li class="ql-indent-1">Proven ability to influence outcomes in complex enterprise deals.
  • Commercial & Strategic Mindset
  • <li class="ql-indent-1">Strong understanding of how technical architecture ties to business value.<li class="ql-indent-1">Ability to guide customers through “build vs. buy” decisions in emerging technology categories.<li class="ql-indent-1">Comfort operating in environments where the product, market narrative, and GTM motion are still evolving.
