This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded kitchen designer who enjoys working with trade customers and managing projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting builders, developers, installers and other trade professionals with bespoke kitchen and fitted furniture projects.

The Role

Summary:

As a Kitchen Designer will be responsible for producing kitchen and interior designs, preparing quotations, processing orders and managing trade customer projects from initial brief through to final sign-off and delivery. The role combines design, sales, product knowledge and account management, with a strong focus on building long-term relationships with trade customers and generating repeat business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce kitchen and fitted interior designs using CAD planning software.
• Interpret customer briefs, plans, measurements and project specifications.
• Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders efficiently.
• Manage projects from initial enquiry through to order confirmation, delivery and completion.
• Build strong relationships with developers, builders, installers and other trade partners.
• Provide expert advice on cabinetry, worktops, finishes and product specifications.
• Manage multiple live projects and keep customers informed throughout the process.
• Work closely with production, operations and delivery teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Identify opportunities to develop existing accounts and generate repeat business.
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation and order records.
• Resolve customer queries and project issues professionally and efficiently.
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service throughout the sales and project journey.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years’ experience within kitchen design, interior design, CAD planning or a similar trade sales environment.
• Previous experience designing kitchens, bedrooms, living spaces or fitted furniture.
• Confidence using CAD or kitchen planning software.
• Experience preparing quotations and processing customer orders.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to convert enquiries into sales.
• Experience dealing with builders, developers, installers or other trade customers.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence managing multiple projects and customer enquiries simultaneously.
• Ability to manage an individual sales pipeline and work towards commercial targets.
• Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach.

Package:

• A base salary of £27,000 - £29,000
• A realistic OTE of £45,000, with top performs achieving over £50k
