Keystone Resourcing are delighted to be working with a well-established plumbing and bathroom merchant seeking a Bathroom Designer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and commercially minded individual who enjoys working with both trade and retail customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers with bathroom projects, from initial enquiry through to design, quotation, ordering and completion.
The Role
Summary:
The Bathroom Designer will be responsible for creating bathroom designs, generating quotations, managing customer projects and delivering exceptional customer service. The role will involve working primarily with trade customers including plumbers, builders and contractors, whilst also supporting retail customers with their bathroom renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce bathroom designs based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Build strong relationships with trade customers, providing expert product advice and support.
- Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements where required.
- Prepare quotations and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer projects from enquiry through to delivery and completion.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and installers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email and in person.
- Maintain accurate customer records and utilise CRM systems effectively.
- Support the showroom and trade counter with day-to-day customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to maximise sales and increase customer spend.
- Provide excellent after-sales service to maintain customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Ensure showroom displays and product areas are maintained to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a bathroom showroom, plumbers merchant, KBB retailer or similar environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Experience dealing with trade customers including plumbers, builders and contractors.
- Good understanding of bathroom products and specifications.
- Experience producing quotations and managing customer orders.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident IT user with experience of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- CAD design experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customer enquiries simultaneously.
- Professional, friendly and proactive approach to customer service.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Package:
- £30,000 - £36,000 base salary
