This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a premium retail environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience from initial enquiry through to project completion.
The Role
Summary:
The Showroom Support Assistant will provide administrative, operational, and customer service support to the design and sales team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organised, enjoys interacting with customers, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and customer enquiries.
- Support the design and sales team with administrative tasks.
- Schedule appointments, surveys, and project meetings.
- Prepare quotations, presentations, and customer documentation.
- Maintain customer records and update CRM systems.
- Assist with showroom presentation, merchandising, and displays.
- Coordinate sample orders and product literature.
- Support project administration from order placement through to completion.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service, kitchen or design environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficient computer and microsoft office skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Professional and confident manner when dealing with customers.
- Experience within interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, or luxury retail would be advantageous but is not essential.
