Keystone Resourcing are delighted to have partnered with a fast-growing, technology-led business operating within the e-commerce and logistics space, looking to hire a Business Development Executive to support continued expansion across the UK.
This position is focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities, acting as the initial point of contact for prospective clients and playing a key role in the early stages of the sales cycle. You’ll gain exposure to the full commercial process while contributing to the company’s ongoing growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively identifying and engaging potential clients through outbound activity including phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Managing and following up on inbound enquiries generated through marketing activity, partnerships, and events
- Qualifying prospects by understanding their business operations and requirements
- Arranging meetings for senior sales team members, ensuring a smooth handover of qualified opportunities
- Supporting the wider commercial team by assisting with client queries and preparing initial proposals or quotations
- Maintaining accurate records of all activity, leads, and customer interactions within the CRM system
- Working closely with sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies and campaign effectiveness
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1–3 years’ experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing commercial role
- Confidence in initiating conversations and building rapport with new contacts
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated approach, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in sectors such as e-commerce, logistics, or technology is advantageous
- Ambitious attitude and keen to develop a long-term career in sales
