We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering commercial, industrial, and large-scale construction projects across the UK.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive mechanical estimates across a range of projects including commercial developments, education, healthcare, industrial facilities, refurbishment works, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tender submissions

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

• Conducting take-offs and preparing cost plans

• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations

• Supporting value engineering exercises and commercial reviews

• Working closely with project delivery and commercial teams

• Assisting with bid strategy and tender presentations where requiredRequirements:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator within Building Services / M&E

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, ventilation, and mechanical systems

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

• Experience within commercial and industrial projects preferred
