Medical Secretary / PA – Full-Time | Specialist Practice 📍 38 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday | Between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Flexibility with start and finish times required to meet clinic needs. Join a respected specialist medical practice located in Perth, where you’ll play a vital role in coordinating day-to-day clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient support.
Experience
You thrive in a fast-paced specialist medical environment, and bring: Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or PA Mandatory: Previous experience with medical practice management software platforms Excellent patient care, professionalism, and communication skills Strong time management, prioritisation, and multitasking capabilities High attention to detail and accuracy Confident in dictaphone typing, with sound knowledge of medical terminology
Job Responsibilities
- High-level clinic coordination, diary management, and secretarial support
- Liaising with patients and healthcare providers regarding appointments, referrals, and investigations
- Communicating fee structures clearly and aligning patients with our payment policies
- Coordinating hospital bookings for procedures, admissions, and diagnostic tests
- Preparing consulting rooms to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Typing doctor’s dictation daily using our digital transcription system
- Managing administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and accurate record-keeping
- Providing general office support and assisting with ad hoc duties as required
