Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Work-mode: Hybrid (1 day from home per week)
Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
Working Hours: Flexible start between 8:00am – 9:00am, Monday to Friday. Monday–Thursday finish between 4:30pm – 6:00pm, depending on start time and lunch break (30–60 minutes). Friday finish between 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
Salary: Up to €38,000 gross per annum (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)

The successful candidate will manage a diverse client portfolio and oversee audit engagements from planning through to completion, while supervising and developing junior team members. Working closely with Directors and Partners, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified audit professional ready to take greater ownership of client relationships and engagement delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and deliver a high standard of client service within agreed budgets and timeframes
- Plan and monitor audit engagements, budgets and workloads, reporting progress to the Audit Director and/or Partner
- Review the audit team’s work to ensure the planning, execution and completion of engagements are performed in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and internal audit methodology
- Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Review and prepare client tax returns and tax computations
- Maintain regular communication with clients via email, telephone, Microsoft Teams and face-to-face meetings
- Report on the status, progress and completion of audit engagements to senior management
- Supervise, coach and provide ongoing technical support to junior members of the audit team
- Ensure engagements are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines
- Take responsibility for the timely billing and collection of client fees
- Prepare audit and advisory proposals
- Support the delivery of advisory assignments where required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- More than 5 years of relevant experience within the Audit Department of an accounting or professional services firm
- Excellent knowledge of CaseWare and e-audit methodologies
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing
- Good knowledge of the Cyprus tax framework
- Previous experience supervising and developing junior audit professionals
- Experience managing audit engagements and client relationships
- Experience providing advisory services will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and technical capabilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
