Job Summary

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: On-site

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, either 8:00am – 5:00pm or 9:00am – 6:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch break (1:00pm – 2:00pm)

Salary: €24,000 – €27,000 gross per annum (paid in 13 salaries)

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately, accounting records are maintained to a high standard, and financial information is prepared in a timely manner. This role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented accounting professional looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and expanding organisation.


Responsibilities

  • Record accounting entries accurately within the accounting system
  • Prepare payments for approval
  • Record accounting transactions relating to revenue and expenses
  • Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, including issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, sending payment reminders, and issuing receipts
  • Record and reconcile incoming payments while maintaining accurate bookkeeping records
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date accounting records
  • Monitor account balances and identify outstanding debts or discrepancies
  • Update accounting records with invoices, payments, balances, and supplier information
  • Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations for suppliers, customers, and bank accounts
  • Support the Finance team with other accounting duties as required


Requirements

  • LCCI Higher or Intermediate qualification in Accounting
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be considered an advantage
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures
  • Experience using accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
