The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of international clients, delivering accounting, financial reporting, and corporate administration services while acting as a key point of contact for clients and external stakeholders. The role offers exposure to cross-border structures, investment holding companies, trusts, and international business operations, making it ideal for professionals looking to further develop their expertise within a dynamic professional services environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring the timely delivery of accounting and financial reporting services
- Prepare and review accounting records, management accounts, and financial statements
- Maintain accounting records for entities holding investment portfolios, including equities, bonds, funds, and other financial instruments
- Review investment statements, bank records, and supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy of accounting records
- Liaise directly with clients on accounting, reporting, and operational matters
- Coordinate with banks, custodians, auditors, lawyers, trustees, investment managers, brokers, and other professional advisers
- Prepare and review corporate documentation, including board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, minutes, and statutory records
- Assist with the administration of international corporate structures and trusts
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance where required
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal procedures
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or currently in the advanced stages of obtaining the qualification
- 4–7 years of relevant experience within a professional services, fiduciary, corporate services, or accounting environment
- Experience working with international clients and cross-border corporate structures
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Experience with investment holding companies, financial instruments, or trust structures will be considered an advantage
- Exposure to corporate administration and corporate documentation will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive, client-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
