Salary: €3,000 - €4,000 gross per month, depending on post-qualification experience, skills, and suitability

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm (1 hour break)

Our client is a well-established professional services firm based in Limassol, providing accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.

As part of continued growth, our client is looking to strengthen its Accounting department with an experienced Senior Accountant to lead a team of accountants and take ownership of the full accounting service delivered to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of accountants and oversee all client accounting services
• Oversee preparation of accounting records and book-keeping in accordance with international financial reporting standards
• Oversee preparation of clients' payroll on a monthly basis
• Oversee preparation of unaudited financial statements using Caseware
• Liaise with clients, their lawyers, and auditors, meeting their needs and requirements on a continuous basis

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years' previous experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with Income Tax
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
• Strong computer literacy, including excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, professional discipline, and willingness to take ownership
• Knowledge of Caseware software
• Knowledge of Intellisoft software is considered an advantage
• ACA or ACCA qualified is considered an advantage
