Salary: €32,000 - €36,000 gross per annum (negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications)

The firm works with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, including multinational organisations, investment groups, privately owned businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. The successful candidate will work closely with local and international clients on a broad range of tax compliance and advisory matters, including corporate taxation, international tax planning, restructurings, tax due diligence, and cross-border transactions. This role offers exposure to complex and rewarding projects while providing opportunities to further develop technical expertise in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, tax computations, and supporting schedules
- Conduct research on local and international tax legislation, tax circulars, double tax treaties, and emerging tax developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical input on tax advisory projects, including restructurings, tax due diligence, tax risk assessments, and cross-border tax matters
- Liaise with local tax authorities on client-related matters
- Support tax audits by preparing analyses, drafting responses, and assisting with communications with relevant authorities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion
- Assist in reviewing the work of junior team members and provide technical support where required
- Prepare client presentations, proposals, and tax updates
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline
- ACA, ACCA, CPA, ADIT qualification, or currently pursuing one of these qualifications
- 3-6 years of relevant tax experience within a professional services environment
- Exposure to international clients will be considered an advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages will be considered an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
