Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: Hybrid (2 days from home per week)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus

Salary: €32,000 - €36,000 gross per annum (negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications)

The firm works with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, including multinational organisations, investment groups, privately owned businesses, and high-net-worth individuals. Known for its personalised approach and technical expertise, the company combines professional excellence with a collaborative and people-focused culture.


The successful candidate will work closely with local and international clients on a broad range of tax compliance and advisory matters, including corporate taxation, international tax planning, restructurings, tax due diligence, and cross-border transactions. This role offers exposure to complex and rewarding projects while providing opportunities to further develop technical expertise in a supportive, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, tax computations, and supporting schedules
  • Conduct research on local and international tax legislation, tax circulars, double tax treaties, and emerging tax developments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical input on tax advisory projects, including restructurings, tax due diligence, tax risk assessments, and cross-border tax matters
  • Liaise with local tax authorities on client-related matters
  • Support tax audits by preparing analyses, drafting responses, and assisting with communications with relevant authorities
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion
  • Assist in reviewing the work of junior team members and provide technical support where required
  • Prepare client presentations, proposals, and tax updates
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders


Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related discipline
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, ADIT qualification, or currently pursuing one of these qualifications
  • 3-6 years of relevant tax experience within a professional services environment
  • Exposure to international clients will be considered an advantage
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English; additional languages will be considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
