This is a highly visible role with significant responsibility across financial operations, reporting, compliance, treasury management, and financial planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable financial processes, improving reporting capabilities, and supporting strategic decision-making as the business continues to grow.
The position is ideally suited to a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and is comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage external accounting providers responsible for general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Develop and enhance financial reporting processes, including monthly and quarterly management reporting and annual audit preparation
- Lead tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions and ensure all statutory obligations are met accurately and on time
- Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, revenue recognition, expenses, and working capital management
- Prepare board reports, financial analysis, KPI dashboards, and investor reporting packs
- Support the development and maintenance of regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Design and implement robust internal controls and financial governance procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, process optimisation, and technology adoption
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth
- Contribute to the ongoing development of scalable financial infrastructure and operational processes
Requirements
- ACCA qualified
- Previous experience within high-growth technology, digital, e-commerce, B2C, or similar fast-paced environments
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, treasury management, budgeting, and compliance
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving business environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial decision-making skills
- Experience building processes and controls within growing organisations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Hands-on and proactive approach with the ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Cyprus and/or US tax and regulatory frameworks
- Exposure to iGaming, online gaming, fintech, payments, or regulated technology sectors
- Experience with ERP systems, automation tools, and modern finance technology platforms
- Familiarity with AI-powered finance, reporting, or operational tools
