Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: Hybrid (for candidates based in Cyprus) / Fully Remote (for candidates based abroad)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus or Remote

Salary: Up to €36,000 gross per annum (negotiable - depending on experience and qualifications)

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Consultant to join its growing team.


The successful candidate will support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Payroll solutions, ensuring efficient payroll operations and compliance with statutory requirements. This role offers exposure to international projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams across HR, Finance, and Technology functions.


Responsibilities

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP Payroll system solutions
  • Support and manage end-to-end payroll processes, including pre- and post-payroll activities, statutory reporting, and retroactive accounting
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll data flow and compliance with legal and tax requirements
  • Develop and execute test plans, conduct UAT, and support go-live activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements
  • Collaborate with ABAP developers, integration teams, and external providers including banks and tax authorities
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to payroll system users
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and optimisation initiatives


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Experience working with SAP Payroll solutions
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of payroll rules, schemas, and wage types will be considered an advantage
  • Experience with payroll configuration will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to prepare and interpret functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
