Our client is one of Cyprus' largest and most internationally recognised law firms, headquartered in Limassol with a strong presence across the island and beyond. The firm advises a broad range of corporate and individual clients across multiple practice areas, and is well known for the quality of its legal work, its professional culture, and the calibre of its team.


Their Litigation Department in Limassol is expanding, and they are now looking for a talented Lawyer with experience in Civil, Tenancy, and Employment Law to join the team and take on a varied and substantive caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review pleadings, statements of claim, defence pleadings, applications and objections, written submissions, and appeal outlines
  • Represent and appear on behalf of clients before the District Courts and the Supreme Court of Cyprus, as well as before other public authorities
  • Communicate and negotiate with courts and relevant authorities in the best interests of clients
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions across civil law, tenancy law, and employment law matters
  • Utilise legal research tools including Leginet, Cylaw, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and legal textbooks


Requirements

  • Law degree from a recognised university
  • Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in Civil Litigation practice
  • Familiarity with civil court rules and procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Strong initiative with the ability to conduct independent research and manage cases
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
