Job Summary

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: Hybrid (1 day working from home, 4 days from the office)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus

Salary: Up to €34,000 gross per annum (depending on experience and qualification status)

Working Hours: Monday -Thursday 8:00-17:00 with a break of 45 minutes, Friday 8:15-14:00 with a break of 15 minutes (please note that there is flexibility on the working hours)

The Senior Auditor will take ownership of assigned audit sections, delivering high-quality work with a strong level of independence.


This role is suited to a technically capable professional who is confident in executing audit workstreams, working closely with clients, and contributing to the overall delivery of engagements.


Responsibilities

  • Perform audit engagements in accordance with ISAs and IFRSs
  • Apply the firm’s methodology and follow relevant procedures and policies
  • Assist other auditors as requested
  • Report to Managers on daily tasks and client issues
  • Responsible for performing the statutory audit for medium-sized companies and assisting in larger audits.
  • Prepare the Financial Statements of companies in accordance with IFRSs
  • Prepare various tax returns, including companies’ income tax returns


Requirements

  • University degree in the field of Accounting & Finance or a related subject
  • Partly or newly qualified ACA or ACCA
  • 3-4 years of audit experience in a reputable firm
  • Fluent in both Greek and English
  • Good knowledge of Caseware Audit International
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional skills
  • Must have very good analytical and time management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as a team member
