Job Summary

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: On-site or Hybrid (open to discuss)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus

Salary: Competitive, depending on qualifications and experience

Working Hours: 39h/week, Mon-Thu, 8:00 – 17:30 with one hour break from 13:00 – 14:00, Fridays 8:00 – 13:00 (flexible hours - you can start earlier to finish earlier or start later and finish later)


Our client is a leading firm of public accountants and consultants based in Cyprus, offering services in audit, taxation, accounting, management consultancy, corporate finance, information technology and other specialised areas.


They are now looking to hire an experienced Auditor to join their Nicosia office, working across a varied portfolio of audit engagements spanning multiple industries.A strong opportunity for an ACCA/ACA qualified (or part-qualified) professional looking to develop within a structured, reputable firm with exposure to a wide range of clients and sectors.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in all stages of audit engagements, including analytical reviews, budgeting, planning, working papers, and financial statement preparation
  • Take responsibility for completing assigned engagements and projects from start to finish
  • Keep Audit Managers updated on progress throughout each assignment
  • Request and review information submitted by clients, and follow up on any queries or missing documentation
  • Ensure financial statements, client correspondence, and related documents are prepared in line with professional and firm standards
  • Identify potential issues or opportunities for improvement in client systems, procedures, or operations and escalate to superiors
  • Support and supervise junior staff
  • Contribute to special projects as required
  • Take on any additional responsibilities as assigned


Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • ACCA or ACA qualified or part-qualified
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of audit software and programmes
  • Knowledge of accounts production software
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Resourceful and proactive
