Our client is a well-established professional services firm supporting international businesses and entrepreneurs operating through Cyprus structures. They provide a full suite of services including accounting, tax compliance, tax planning, advisory, and statutory audit.

The Senior Auditor will take ownership of assigned audit sections, delivering high-quality work with a strong level of independence. This role is suited to a technically strong professional who is confident managing audit workstreams and contributing to overall engagement delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned audit sections independently from planning through to completion
• Prepare clear, complete, and ISA-compliant working papers in line with firm standards
• Gather and evaluate sufficient and appropriate audit evidence
• Identify and document risks and potential misstatements within assigned areas
• Apply IFRS knowledge across key audit areas (e.g. revenue recognition, leases, related-party transactions)
• Prepare or assist with tax computations, including TD4 and SIT schedules
• Escalate technical matters clearly to the Lead Auditor, providing proposed solutions where possible
• Support and guide junior and semi-senior auditors during fieldwork, where applicable
• Communicate proactively with the Lead Auditor regarding progress and challenges
• Liaise professionally with clients on document requests and audit queries

Requirements

• ACCA, ACA, or equivalent (fully qualified or at advanced stages)
• 3 - 7 years of experience in external audit
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA
• Familiarity with Cyprus tax principles, including TD4 and SIT
• Experience using CaseWare or similar audit software
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
