Salary: $220,000 – $250,000 per year (negotiable, depending on experience)

The successful candidate will work on complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on real estate and construction-related litigation. This role offers exposure to sophisticated cases and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility across all stages of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue motions and legal briefs in complex commercial litigation matters
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Manage discovery processes, including document production and review using e-discovery platforms
• Prepare witnesses for hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Participate in trials, hearings, and evidentiary proceedings
• Assist in developing litigation strategies and case management
• Negotiate settlements and client resolutions where appropriate
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression and client service

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active New York State Bar admission
• Minimum 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience
• Experience with real estate-related disputes and construction litigation preferred
• Strong knowledge of New York civil procedure
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
