Salary: $220,000 – $250,000 per year (negotiable, depending on experience)

The successful candidate will work on complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on real estate and construction-related litigation. This role offers exposure to sophisticated cases and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility across all stages of litigation.
Responsibilities
- Draft and argue motions and legal briefs in complex commercial litigation matters
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Manage discovery processes, including document production and review using e-discovery platforms
- Prepare witnesses for hearings, trials, and arbitrations
- Participate in trials, hearings, and evidentiary proceedings
- Assist in developing litigation strategies and case management
- Negotiate settlements and client resolutions where appropriate
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case progression and client service
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active New York State Bar admission
- Minimum 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience
- Experience with real estate-related disputes and construction litigation preferred
- Strong knowledge of New York civil procedure
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
