Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Work-mode: Hybrid (2 days from home, 3 days from the office)
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Salary: Up to €5,000 gross per month (depending on experience) + commission
Commission Structure:
2% of Net Quarterly Revenue (NQR) for clients introduced through partners
6% of NQR for clients sourced directly by the employee
Commission capped at approximately €1,100 per client per month
Our client is an international fintech company operating in the transactional banking and payments sector, providing financial infrastructure and banking solutions to businesses globally. The company works within a highly regulated environment and partners with financial institutions, fintechs, and global businesses to deliver secure and scalable payment solutions.
The Senior Commercial Development Manager will focus on building and managing strategic partnerships within the banking and payments ecosystem, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth through client and partner acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the partner ecosystem
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships in the transactional banking and payments space
- Lead the end-to-end acquisition process, including outreach, negotiations, and onboarding of clients and partners
- Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that support long-term collaboration and value creation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Monitor partner and client performance using KPIs and performance metrics to ensure value delivery and growth
- Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new opportunities
- Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to support commercial and operational improvements
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Commercial Operations, Compliance, and Account Management
- Prepare and present regular performance reports on pipeline development, partnership performance, and commercial activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or commercial roles within banking, fintech, or financial services
- Strong understanding of the payments and transactional banking ecosystem
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support strategic decisions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
