Our client is a growing professional services firm based in Cyprus, providing high-quality tax, audit, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients.
Due to ongoing growth and expansion, they are seeking experienced audit professionals to join their growing audit team in Nicosia. The firm is open to candidates at the Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager level, depending on experience and professional background.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing statutory audit engagements, supervising audit teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to a diverse client portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and perform statutory audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Review audit files, working papers, and financial statements prepared under IFRS
- Manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior audit team members
- Liaise with clients to obtain audit information and resolve accounting or audit matters
- Identify accounting, audit, and compliance issues and propose appropriate solutions
- Ensure audit assignments are completed within agreed deadlines and budgets
- Maintain high audit quality standards and compliance with internal procedures
- Support partners and directors in managing client portfolios and maintaining client relationships
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- 5–7 years of audit experience (depending on the level of the position)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA
- Experience supervising audit teams and managing client engagements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
