Required Skills
A minimum two (2) year AMA approved program and successful completion of one year Ultrasound training and certification
OR Two (2) years Allied Health and successful completion and certification of two (2) year ARDMS program
Successful completion of an AMA accredited Ultrasound program - ARDMS registered - CardioVascular Credentialing International (new grads within one (1) year of hire for registration)
High School Diploma or GED
Sonography Technologist License (Oregon)
BLS - within one month of hire
Completion of formal training program upon hire
Job Summary
To provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, to include clerical duties as required.
To perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concepts and reflects the company Mission and philosophy.
DAYS - 32 HOURS/WEEK
Experience
Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo and Pediatric Echosonography preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic procedures.
- Routine, emergent, portable, surgical examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Communication with Cardiologist.
- Assist patient/transport.
