Vehicle Technician - Diagnostic Technician

Location: Leicester

Salary: £28,000 – £38,000 (DOE) + Uncapped Bonus (OTE +£10k)

Work Pattern: 40 Hours per week | 1 in 4 Saturdays

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy, modern workshop. This is a hands-on role within a professional dealership environment, where you’ll work on everything from routine servicing and maintenance to complex diagnostic repairs, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards and is completed within set timeframes.

About You

• A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognised Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience within a dealership or similar professional workshop.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with clear processes and procedures.
• Confident in carrying out vehicle health check videos for retail customers, communicating findings clearly and professionally.
• Able to work on both retail customer vehicles and internal preparation work, maintaining high standards throughout.
• Skilled in working within given timescales and tackling all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ideally, you have EV/hybrid experience or certification, or you’re keen to develop your skills in this area.
• A productive “can-do” attitude, taking pride in efficiency and quality of work.

Skill Levels We’re Hiring

Service Technicians: Competent in all aspects of mechanical repair and servicing.

Diagnostic Technicians: Specialist knowledge in electrical fault finding and advanced diagnostics.
