Job Role

As an Energy Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a successful business pipeline, creating new business opportunities via calling, and developing the sales value of existing clients. You will, primarily, be operating via telephone (Outbound Calling) and a confident and assured telephone manner is essential. You will be required to build rapport with clients, gathering information, support them through choosing suitable energy products, and ultimately closing the sale. This role would particularly suit someone who is not afraid of rejection but also looking to work in a fun, intense, and fast-paced sales environment with the result to make money.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact businesses, with the aim to look at adding value to their utility contracts.
• To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and revenue targets.
• To achieve the target conversion rates set.
• To always adhere to the sales compliance rules – all sales are generated in line with our quality standards.
• To ensure the target rejection/losses rate is not exceeded.
• To accurately complete all customer details & sales information to the required standard.
• Professionally represent a leading energy consultancy.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum of 12 months B2B energy sales experience is a must.
• Experience in high value consultative selling.
• The ability to be self-motivated, focused, achieving, and exceeding targets whilst cold calling to create leads.
• Knowledge of the energy sector (comprehensive training programme is offered).
• Can communicate effectively and professionally to all customers.
• The ability to work as part of a team supporting colleagues where necessary.
