- Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by managing and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers. This is a hybrid role, combining field-based client engagement with office-based responsibilities including training, planning, reporting, and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular site visits. Understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services.
New Business Development:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through face-to-face meetings, networking, and market research. Generate leads, arrange initial meetings, and present tailored solutions to prospective clients.
Sales Strategy Execution:
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies that meet sales targets and expand market share within your designated territory or sector.
Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
Reporting & Administration:
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales pipeline activity, and performance metrics. Prepare weekly reports and contribute to forecasting and planning sessions.
Market Intelligence:
Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Sales Team Support:
Contribute to team training, target planning, and overall sales growth initiatives.
